Hyderabad: The state government has approved the implementation of the Dalit Bandhu-II scheme. The state government issued an order in this regard on Saturday.
The National Cabinet has decided to implement the Dalit Bandhu-II scheme, targeting 130,000 SC households (129,800 to 118 parliamentary constituencies, 1,100 beneficiaries per parliamentary constituency, and 200 beneficiaries at the disposal of the Chief Secretary).
The District Collector will determine the SC households in proportion to the 1,100 SC households in each parliamentary constituency (excluding Huzurabad) in consultation with the people’s representatives and officials.
An official panel will be established to identify, vet and verify residents. MPDO and Urban Local Corporation (ULC) case officials will upload the verified beneficiary details on the Dalit Bandhu portal.
According to the order, the processes related to the identification, sanction and enforcement of the scheme will be done by utilizing data from the Dalit Bandhu portal, including the mobile application developed by TS Online for accountability and transparency.
