The first PRC term led by CR Biswal ended on June 30 this year

Hyderabad: Good news may soon come for state government employees, pensioners, outsourced and contract workers. The state government is expected to form a second Salary Adjustment Committee (PRC) to review and recommend adjustments to the salaries of government employees, pensioners, outsourced and contract employees in Telangana.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is likely to hold a meeting with all employees’ unions in a few weeks and seek their advice before forming a second PRC. Official sources and employee unions have been informed that the state government may declare interim relief (IR) until it is implemented by the PRC.
In addition, the state government is expected to make a decision on the Employee Health Scheme (EHS), establishing procedures for its implementation. It is reported that the state government will also make key announcements on housing issues for government employees.
The term of the first People’s Republic of China, led by CR Biswal, ended on June 30 this year.
Following the appointment of the second PRC, the committee will study and make recommendations for the implementation of the revised wages/pensions, effective 1 July 2023.
