Hyderabad: Telangana High Court Chief Judge Ujjal Bhuyan on Monday granted relief to Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Arvind.
Arvind had sought bail from the High Court in a criminal case under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act 1989. The case was registered by the Madannapet Police for Arvind’s alleged derogatory remarks about the SC, ST case of Chanchalguda Prison. Earlier, his application for rescission was rejected by the court and he had to stand trial.
In the current anticipation of bail applications, the Chief Justice issued directions for granting bail in case of arrest. Accordingly, the case was dealt with.
