Telangana boys crowned Senior Nationals men’s and women’s flag football tournament champions

Hyderabad: The Telangana men’s team was crowned champion in the Senior Nationals men’s and women’s flag football tournament organized by the Indian American Soccer Federation at Bowenpally, Hyderabad on Tuesday.
Telangana beat Kerala 45-20 in the summit clash to claim the title. Earlier in the semi-finals, Telangana beat Karnataka 24-0 to reach the final.
There are eight teams, with Telangana, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Punjab and Rajasthan vying for the top honors.
Talking about the victory, Telangana coach Pravin Reddy said: “To come out on top in such a competitive event is an amazing achievement and it’s a testament to the hard work and dedication of the team.”
