Hyderabad: As part of the state government’s efforts to shift to clean and green energy, StreeNidhi Credit Union Union Ltd, driven by the state government and Mandal Samkhyas to supplement the credit flow of the banking sector, has planned to provide loans to install rooftop net metering solar to 10,000 self-help across the state Panel units in the homes of group (SHG) members. StreeNidhi will work with the Telangana State Renewable Energy Development Corporation (TSREDCO) to implement the scheme.
According to StreeNidhi DGM BVS Reddy, his organization has identified 300 directives across the state to implement the scheme, and each directive will install about 35 units.
