A schoolgirl was found dead after falling from the fourth floor of a building in RGUKT-Basar, according to reports. It is not clear whether it was a suicide or an accidental fall that killed her.
Nimar: Following the alleged suicide of a female student at Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge and Technology (RGUKT)-Basar, another female student was reportedly found dead on Wednesday night after falling from the fourth floor of a building on the campus.
Police have yet to determine whether she fell to her death accidentally or jumped to her death.
Bura Likhita (19), a first year matriculation student from Gajwel, Siddipet district, fell from the building at around 2am. Security personnel noticed that she was unconscious. She was immediately taken to a hospital in Bhainsa.
When her condition deteriorated, she was transferred to a hospital in Nirmal town. Doctors declared her dead. University authorities notified her parents of the incident. They are on their way to Nilmar.
On June 13, Vadla Deepika allegedly hanged herself in the bathroom using a hood after attending her annual medical examination. A four-member internal committee has been formed to investigate the alleged suicide.
On Wednesday, students held a puja to demand that college authorities reveal the reasons for her suicide.
