To ensure people have access to healthcare, Telangana government is setting up a medical college in each district, says Laxma Reddy
Mahabnagar: MLA C Laxma Reddy said at the Medical and Health Day celebrations on Wednesday that to ensure people’s access to healthcare, the state government is setting up a medical college in each district.
Laxma Reddy highlighted the transformative impact on the healthcare industry due to the establishment of medical schools in each region and the introduction of Basti Dawakhanas and TS Diagnostics (55 free tests available) and said Telangana is the only state in the region In each region there is a medical school.
Laxma Reddy mentioned the inauguration of a 100-bed hospital in Jadcherla and the government’s aggressive efforts to strengthen medical facilities by expanding ICU capacity and emergency departments. In addition, he said, dialysis services are now available in state-run hospitals.
