Irrigation Department manages to run third pump at Kannepalli Pumping Station of Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme on Godavari River
Hyderabad: On Tuesday, the irrigation department managed to run the third pump of the Kannepalli Pumping Station of the Kaleshwaram Elevated Irrigation Scheme on the Godavari River in Medigadda Village, Bhupalpally District, Jayashankar, which suffered extensive damage during the major floods in July this year.
On Sunday, engineers successfully ran two pumps, and today they successfully ran a third pump. By the end of the month, officials were trying to repair 11 of the 17 water pumps that were submerged during the flooding.
