Telangana Grandmaster Raja Rithvik crowned IX Chessable Sunway Sitges International Blitz Chess Championship Champion

Hyderabad: Telangana grandmaster Raja Rithvik won the IX Chessable Sunway Sitges International Blitz Chess Championship in Spain on Sunday.
He scored 8.5 points in nine rounds and won the championship. Riswick is unbeaten in the Championship, having won eight matches and drawing one. About 120 players from 30 countries participated in the competition. Students from University of Kuala Lumpur are trained by N Rama Raju at the RACE Chess Academy in Hyderabad.
Telangana State Chess Association President KS Prasad congratulated Raja Rithvik on his achievement and wished to bring more honors to the state and country.
