Hyderabad: Songs/movies that respect the culture of a region are always respected by the audience. The Bathukamma festival in Telangana has recently been explored by Telugu films. But what is unique about this time is that a Bollywood film has sincerely respected the Bathukamma tradition.
The Hindi film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ starring our very own ‘Butta Bomma’ Pooja Hegde pays homage to a local tradition through a song named after a popular festival. The song was filmed in a real setting with the much loved family hero Venkatesh. The film’s crowd hero, Salman Khan, enters the film’s finale in traditional attire.
‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ cast looks gorgeous in traditional attire. She dances with such grace and grace that it captivates you. She brings back the charm of her early days as an actress.
On the occasion of the song’s release, the pan-India star said that Bathukamma is a unique festival in the rich Indian culture. “Women in Telangana love to celebrate this day so much. I am honored to be a part of the Bathukamma festival with this song from our team #KisiKaBhaiKisiKiJaan, a tribute to Telangana’s beautiful flower festival,” added Pooja.
