Hyderabad: Prime Video has released the trailer for its upcoming crime drama series “Dahaad.” The series was created by Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar and directed by Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi.
Produced by Excel Media & Entertainment and Tiger Baby, with Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar serving as executive producers, “Dahaad” stars Sonakshi Sinha, Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah and Sohum Shah.
The series’ riveting trailer reveals tensions at the local police station as Sonakshi Sinha’s Anjali Bhaati and her colleagues hunt for a serial killer on the loose . “Dahaad” is an eight-part crime drama that follows Deputy Inspector Anjali Bhaati and her colleagues in a small town police station. As a string of mysterious disappearances begins, they race against time to investigate and piece together the clues before another innocent woman dies.
“‘Dahaad’, for me, is a very special project. Not only does it mark my streaming debut, it is also the first-ever Indian series to be screened at Berlinale 2023,” Sonakshi Sinha says
