Hyderabad: There is always someone “mature” and “sophisticated” who is indispensable to young people, teaching them the tricks of the business. Tillotama Shome’s character Meera does just that in Netflix’s upcoming romantic fantasy thriller series Tooth Pari: When Love Bite.
Dubbed “poetry in motion,” Meera embodies the idea that “norms are boring.” In her world full of vampires and eager to explore the human world, she is content and content with her life! She does not desire human blood, nor does she want any human contact.
She stands out for her zany attire and unconventional but very advanced way of expressing her thoughts. As an old hand, she has her own unique way of “training” young vampires to act in the human world.
It’s interesting to see Meera’s reaction to Rumi falling in love with the human dentist and what her advice is.
Tillotama’s versatility as an actor shines through in Meera. When asked about the role, she explained, “Netflix has always been a metaphor for me as a chocolate factory; sweet and bitter, crunchy, salty, spicy! Being able to offer such diverse and age-appropriate portions delights the senses.” People are excited. “Tooth Pari…” is such a feast.
Elaborating further, she said, “Mira is someone who doesn’t fit the mainstream view of the vampire world. She chooses to challenge the normative roles of women. She has a soft spot for the nonconformist in the room. She absolutely captivates me; hope you enjoy she!”
Meera may be open for inquiries once “Tooth Pari: When Love Bites” is released on April 20.
