“Queen of South India” Trisha has spent two decades in the film industry, with fans celebrating the milestone with well wishes on social media. The actor made his leading role in the Tamil film “Mounam Pesiyadhe” for the first time in 2002 after appearing in a supporting role in “Jodi” in 1999. It all started after Trisha won the title of Miss Chennai in 1999. She did her modeling and advertising work before entering the film industry.
Trisha was last seen in the Mani Ratnam movie “Ponniyin Selvan” and she has given out several hits like “Varsham”, “Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana”, “Athadu”, “Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule”, “Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya” and “96”‘, all these years. Trisha’s fan base doubled after her recent role as Chola Princess Kundavai Devi in ”PS1″.

Meanwhile, apart from “Ponniyin Selvan 2,” the southern superstar also has a web series called “Brinda” in the pipeline. Trisha recently announced that she is wrapping up filming on the Telugu detective thriller, which is about to air its first season.
