Adilabad: Cadres of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (now BRS) took to the streets on Thursday to protest the BJP’s attempt to overthrow the government by luring four MLAs in the old district of Adilabad.
In Adilabad, TRS militants took a sit-in on National Highway 44 before burning effigies of the Saffron Party. They criticized the BJP for taking an anti-democratic approach to dismantling the government formed by the TRS.
Meanwhile, MLA Athram Sakku and Koneru Konappa participated in the protest in Asifabad. They both slammed the BJP for plotting against the state government. They say the public will soon be teaching saffron parties a lesson.
