Hyderabad: The Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TSCSB) will soon start taking complaints from citizens at its offices in the Integrated Command and Control Centre. The TSCSB police station will simultaneously coordinate with the cybercrime police stations in the three districts of Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Ratchakonda.
“Anyone can come forward with a complaint. Depending on the severity of the complaint, we will decide to deal with it directly or forward it to the relevant local cybercrime unit,” said TSCSB Superintendent Raghuveer. The State Government has approved 500 positions at various levels in the TSCSB, of which 130 will be based in the TSCSB’s ICCC Building office and the remainder in regional and auxiliary units across the state.
In the coming months, six more cybercrime police stations will be set up in Warangal, Ramagundam, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Khammam and Siddipet. In addition, all remaining regions will have regional cybercrime coordination centers to facilitate the registration, investigation and detection of cybercrime. “Talent at TSCSB is selected through a process that includes written tests and interviews. We want to have a dedicated and skilled team that can respond in the shortest possible time and in a highly professional manner,” said Raghuveer .
