Hyderabad: The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) on Friday released the first set of preliminary test results, with 25,050 candidates provisionally eligible for the main written test (regular type) to be held in June 2023.
List of hall ticket numbers of qualified candidates based on preliminary test has been made available on the website https://www.tspsc.gov.in/.
The TSPSC said in a release that the format of the main exam will be published on the committee’s website on January 18.

Stated no minimum passing score for any category, 50 times the number of candidates taking the main exam for each multi-district vacancy, strict adherence to community, gender, EWS, PH retention rules that were introduced for the first time in the state, the committee said sports.
In the Visually Impaired (Female) category of Multiregion II and the Hearing Impaired (General) category of Multiregion II, the 1:50 ratio could not be achieved due to a shortage of candidates for these categories, the TSPSC said.
It said that if two or more candidates obtained equal marks in the exam, the order of results of these candidates would be considered based on their local status in Telangana.
“If two or more candidates have the same score and local status, the date of birth of the candidates will be used for ranking, i.e., the older candidate will be given a higher rank,” the TSPSC said, adding , which is in line with the interim order of the High Court, that the Commission track women’s reserves laterally.
The board said that according to the instructions stated in the notification, the OMR form of candidates who did not bubble or incorrectly bubbled the hall ticket number and paper number in the OMR form was not valid in the main examination.
