Hyderabad: The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) is scheduled to conduct the Group-I Main examination in April 2023.
The committee conducting the first set of preliminary tests will publish the results within 10 days.
After releasing the preliminary results, TSPSC plans to give students three months to prepare for the Group-I Main exam, sources said on Saturday.
The main exam date will be finalized after taking into account the schedule of Intermediate Public Examination, SSC Public Examination, NEET and other competitive exams in order to provide the required number of centers for conducting the main exam.
As announced in the first set of notifications, candidates admitted to the main examination will be formally entered into 50 times the total number of vacancies available in each multi-district in accordance with the appointment rules.
A total of 2,86,051 candidates participated in the preliminary examination held on October 16, and 25,150 candidates will be selected to participate in the main examination at a ratio of 1:50.
According to sources, the verification of credentials for the first group of service recruits will take place after the main exams. It is worth noting that the Commission has notified 503 vacancies under the first category of services. Meanwhile, the Commission plans to issue notifications for 728 vacancies under Group-II services by the end of the month.
