Hyderabad: Over the past few days, the temple town of Tirumala in the Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh has witnessed an unprecedented upsurge in pilgrimage, with more than 48 hours spent in prayer to Lord Venkateshwara.
According to temple authorities, Tirumala was crowded due to a series of holidays. All the compartments of Vaikuntam 1 and 2 are packed with pilgrims.
There is a lot of traffic on Alipiri sidewalks. TTD authorities have called on the faithful to be aware of this and plan their pilgrimage accordingly.
