Hyderabad: Twitter CEO Elon Musk said Twitter accounts that had been inactive for years would be deleted. Elon Musk took up his official account and said, “We’re weeding out accounts that haven’t been active at all for a few years, so you might see a drop in followers.”
According to Twitter’s user policy, users should check their accounts at least every 30 days to prevent permanent account deletion due to several days of inactivity.
Earlier, Twitter revoked the verification of blue tickets for thousands of users, including profiles of celebrities and important politicians. However, the verification badges were eventually put back on well-known celebrity accounts with millions of followers.
