Eluru: The two feared drowned in the Godavari River when their boat capsized near Bheemalapuram in Achanta mandal, West Godavari district, on Tuesday.
The missing persons were identified as K. Peddiraju, 58, and S. Venkataramana, 35, while three others swam to safety. The police sent divers to conduct a search and rescue operation at the scene. It is said that the main cause of the accident was that the boat was full of coconuts.
