hunt: Two people were killed and another was injured in a road accident at Yashwanthraopet, Buggaram mandal on Thursday night.
The accident occurred when a tractor collided with a two-wheeler coming from the opposite direction. Two men, Mohammed Shabbir and Kodipalli Srikanth, from Kalleda in the Jagtial rural Mandal traveled by bicycle.
Shabbir died at the scene while Srikanth breathed his last while being transferred to hospital. The tractor crashed into a house after hitting the bike, injuring its owner, Oruganti Lingaiah.
After learning of the incident, the police rushed to the scene and filed a case for investigation. The body was transferred to Jagtial Hospital for an autopsy.
