Hyderabad: Two unidentified people armed with guns broke into a jewelry store and opened fire, causing panic in Nagor’s Snehapuri colony on Thursday night, injuring two people.
The suspect entered the store and threatened workers to hand over the gold jewelry, the source said. However, the workers resisted and tried to grab them, and the suspect fired three shots at close range. They later fled with the gold jewelry on display in the shop.
LB Nagar police rushed to the scene to investigate. The CLUES team and Dog Squad visited the site.
LB Nagar police are investigating. Footage from surrounding surveillance cameras is being collected and checked for early identification and arrest of the attackers.
