The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the release of preliminary results for the civil service for 2023.

Hyderabad: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the release of the 2023 Civil Service Preliminary Results.Candidates who have appeared for the exam can now check their results on the official website upsc.gov.in
The committee recommended a total of 14,624 candidates. Selected candidates will be required to appear for the Civil Service (Main) Examination, which is scheduled to begin on September 15.
The preliminary test was conducted on May 28 and qualified candidates will also be eligible to appear for the 2023 Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination. The exam is based on a screening test conducted through the Civil Service (Preliminary) Examination 2023.
All shortlisted candidates have to re-apply by submitting the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for the Civil Service (Main) Examination 2023 according to the exam guidelines. Dates and important instructions for completion and submission of DAF-I will be published on the official website in the near future, as stated in the announcement.
