Hyderabad: Vande Bharat express train from Goa to Mumbai may start operation next month. Vande Bharat Express cuts travel time between Mumbai and Goa by at least 45 minutes compared to Tejas Express. Trains run between CST and Madgaon.
The Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat Express line test was successfully completed on Tuesday, with the train taking more than seven hours to complete the one-way journey.
The official stated that this is an internal experiment, and the specific passenger schedule information will be announced in the near future.
Tejas Express departs from CSMT at 5:50pm and arrives at Madgaon at 2:40pm, taking approximately 8 hours and 40 minutes
Mumbai-Goa Express will be the fourth Vande Bharat operated by Captain Finance. The three Vande Bharat trains are Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar Capital, Mumbai-Senagar Shirdi on Western Railways and Mumbai-Solapur on Central Railways.
