Tirupateya, a resident of Laxminagar, was killed when a wall collapsed at a construction site in Nacharam on Tuesday.

Hyderabad: A worker was killed when a wall collapsed at a construction site in Nacharam on Tuesday. According to the police, the victim, Tirupatea (35 years old), was a resident of Laxminagar and went to work at a private company in Nacharam. Under the direction of contractor Ashok Kumar, the worker started to demolish a collapsed wall that was crushing on top of him.
“Tirupatea was crushed under the rubble and suffered serious injuries. He was transferred to a private hospital where doctors pronounced him dead,” Nacharam police said.
The contractor, Uppalapati Ashok Kumar, has been charged with neither security measures nor providing security kits to the victims.
