Warangal: Prof Anisetty Ravinder Nath, from Warangal, has been appointed Vice-Chancellor of Kashmir Central University for a five-year term. The Department of Education (GoI), Government of India, issued an order in this regard on 31 March.
While completing his studies at Government Markazi High School in Hanamkonda, Prof. Ravinder Nath completed his Intermediate at Government Junior College in Hanamkonda and graduated from CKM College in Warangal.
Currently Senior Professor of Biotechnology at CUK Karnataka, recently selected for the prestigious UGC-BSR Faculty Fellowship. Previously, he served as Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Osmania University, Dean of Academic Affairs at MANUU and Dean of Development and UGC Affairs at OU, and Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmacy and Biotechnology at OU.
He is also Chairman of the BoS Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology Division. Prof. Ravinder Nath has served Ottomania University for more than 30 years. He has taught and trained a considerable number of engineering and pharmacy students at B.Tech., M.Tech. and PhD levels. So far, he has supervised 17 doctoral theses and 98 master’s theses. He is the Chairman of the Implementation Committee of CBCS and CFSD, Government of Telangana and a member of the Academic Committee of Maulana Azad National Urdu University.
