Hyderabad: Images and videos of lighting always sell well. The spectacular veins of light stretching across the horizon are always worth a look. But what if lightning struck one of the tallest buildings in the world?
On Sunday, a Twitter user with the handle Max Guliani shared a video that had more than 5.2 million views as of this article’s publication.
The video, titled “Lightning storm over #NYC World Trade Center tonight,” shows the lightning strike happening right on the cusp of the World Trade Center in New York City, USA.
The seemingly normal sky lit up and it looked like the building was the wand from the Harry Potter series that had just cast one of the most powerful spells in history. Photographer Marks, who regularly posts photos of New York City, is gaining admiration online, with people asking him to quickly copy his work.
The video, which is now going viral, has sparked reactions from around the world. “How one thing can be so beautiful and at the same time so deadly is a mystery to me,” one user wrote. “This is a once in a lifetime shot,” wrote another.
