Surya pets: A female worker was electrocuted to death in a farm field in Reddygudem, Maddirala mandal in the district on Thursday.
Bobbali Sravani, 26, from Reddygudem village, was planting seedlings in the field when he accidentally touched the pull wire of an electrified pole. She died instantly.
According to police, the guy wires were being passed through due to damage to the insulating clips on the poles.
Sravani’s body was transferred to Thungathurthy Government Hospital for an autopsy.
