hunt: A young man saved the lives of a husband and wife who allegedly jumped into a farm field near Namilikonda in the Kodimial mandal on Tuesday night.
According to locals, a couple from Varangal visited the Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy temple to receive the darshan of the presiding deity.
On the way back, the two had an argument and parked the car where it was. As the altercation became serious, both reportedly jumped into a farm well in a rage and ended their lives.
A youth, Katravenet, from Gangadhara, Karimnagar district, was passing by with his friend Ganthakiran and another. Seeing the couple jumping into the well, Vinith also jumped into the well to save the couple.
Locals praised the youth for saving the couple.
