Public Health Director Dr G Srinivasa Rao was speaking at a leadership seminar in Kothagudem on Saturday.
Kota Gooden: Director-General of Public Health Dr G Srinivasa Rao said youth play a very important role in building modern India to grow into a global force and they should use their time constructively.
Dr GSR Charitable Trust opened a two-day ‘Youth Leaders Workshop’ called ‘Kothagudem Yuva Shakti’ here on Saturday, where he addressed the youth gathering.
Srinivasa Rao, chairman of the foundation, said young people should come out of religious intoxication and respect all religions equally, as India stands for unity in diversity. He added that people in schools and universities must use their time efficiently to build better careers and social media should not be overused.
Renowned personality development expert Gampa Nageshwara Rao advises young people to develop time management and communication skills to become leaders. Goal setting is an important aspect of anyone reaching higher positions in life, he said.
Earlier in the day, Dr Srinivasa Rao installed reverse osmosis equipment for RTC workers at the TSRTC bus station in Kothagudem.
