Medinagar: An 11-year-old boy was allegedly strangled to death by his stepmother in the Paramu district of Jharkhand state, police said on Tuesday.

They said the incident happened in Manhong village in the area of ​​Chhatarpur police station.

The stepmother was arrested after officers discovered the boy’s body on Tuesday morning, police said.

The victim’s father married the defendant about 10 years ago after the victim’s first wife died from a snakebite.

On Monday night, the accused got into a fight with the victim, who hit him with an iron bar and allegedly strangled him to death.

Police said they were questioning the accused.
