Hyderabad: Southern Central Railway (SCR) will operate 38 Sabarimala trains in December and January to evacuate the influx of Sabarimala pilgrims.
The trains will operate between various destinations in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh as well as Kollam and Kottayam in Kerala.
According to SCR, the Hyderabad-Koram train will operate every Monday on December 5, 12, 19 and 26 and on January 2, 9 and 16. The special train between Kolem and Hyderabad will operate every Tuesday on 6th, 13th, 20th December and 2nd January. 27 and Jauary 3, 10 and 17.
The Hyderabad-Kollam-Hyderabad special train will stop at Secunderabad, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Nadikude, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Tenali, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Kavali, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Tirupati, Chittoor, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palghat, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Chenganacheri, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Mavelikera, Kayankulam and Sasthankota stations are located in both directions.
The Narsapur-Kottayam special train runs every Friday on December 2nd, 9th, 16th, 30th and January 6th and 13th, and the return direction special train runs on December 3rd, 10th, 17th, 31st, and January 7th and 14th (Saturday).
Narsapur-Kottayam-Narsapur special train will stop at Palakollu, Bhimavaram, Bhimavaram Town, Akividu, Kaikaluru, Gudivada, Vijayawada, Tenali, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Tirupati, Chittoor, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode., There are stations in both directions from Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrissur, Aluva and Ernakulam Town.
The special train between Secunderabad and Kottayam will operate on December 4, 11, 18 and 25 and January 1 and 8 (Sunday). The Kottayam-Secunderabad special train runs on December 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th and January 2nd and 9th (Monday).
Secunderabad-Kottayam-Secunderabad special train will stop at Cherlapalli, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Nadikude, Piduguralla, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Tenali, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore , Palghat, Thrissur, Aluva and Ernakulam towns in both directions.
These trains will include 2AC, 3AC, sleeping cars and regular second class cars.
