Minister Indrakaran Reddy toured a scientific model at the science fair at the Utnoor mandal center on Tuesday
adilabad: Forest Minister Allola Indrakaran Reddy advises tribal students to excel in science, technology and education. On Tuesday, he officially opened the tribal school’s science fair at the Utnoor mandal centre.
Addressing the students, Indrakaran Reddy advised parents and teachers to encourage the education of the students which plays a vital role in their development.
He said the government would take steps to develop dojo schools run by tribal welfare departments as an alternative to private schools. He thanked the ITDA-Utnoor authorities for their careful arrangements for the smooth holding of the exhibition.
ITDA project officer K Varun Reddy said 96 students from 133 tribal welfare monastic schools in the former Adilabad area participated, while about 4000 students and teachers visited the science fair.
Indrakaran then convened an awareness program for authorities and public representatives against Kanti Velugu in Adilabad and directed concerned officials to make the program a success. The implementation of the 100-day long-term plan cost Rs 250 crore, he said.
