Hyderabad: Audio clips of a phone conversation involving BJP involving TRS MLA pilot Rohit Reddy and accusing Ramachandra Bharathi and Nanda Kumar of covert operations in the deal have come out.
During the 13-minute phone conversation, it was clear that Ramachandra Bharathi was talking to the TRS MLA and insisted on joining the party ahead of the Munugode vote scheduled for November 3.
The name BL Santosh, who Swamy called the secretary of the RSS national organization, repeated in the conversation, also said the move was approved at the “highest” level. The numbers one and two are also mentioned, although not named.
During the conversation, Ramachandra Bharathi was heard asking TRS MLA about the number of other TRS leaders who might join the party.
“We need qualified leaders,” he said, adding that all “aspects” would be taken care of, no worries.
He further asked the TRS MLA not to speak over the phone for extended periods of time. Swamy also insisted on meeting with the TRS MLA after October 25, citing health concerns.
Interrupting the conversation, another defendant, Nanda Kumar, heard that the meeting had been scheduled after October 25, citing a solar eclipse.
