CM KCR said a 24-member gang is poaching priorities from other political parties and overthrowing the elected government every day.
Hyderabad: Exposing the modus operandi of the BJP’s purchase of four TRS MLAs, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao said a 24-member gang was poaching MLAs from other parties every day and overthrowing the elected government.
Each member has three different ID cards, including Aadhar card, PAN card and driving license. Although it is the same person, he has three ID cards with different names, even his father’s name is different.
“All these details have been brought to the court,” Chandrashekhar Rao said.
Describing what happened when a video of the undercover operation negotiations was shown, the chief minister said the accused had repeatedly contacted Tandur MLA Rohit Reddy by phone and in person. After learning of their plans, the MLA informed the Chief Minister and subsequently lodged a complaint with Home Minister Mohd. Mahmoud Ali.
In the video, the accused publicly disclosed how Karnataka’s priorities were affected, how they disguised themselves as day laborers, were taken to Yelahanka airport by tractor and then flown to Mumbai, where they were given money. The accused spoke publicly about the involvement of BJP bigwigs, including union home minister Amit Shah, BJP national chairman JP Nadda and national general secretary BL Santosh, Ramchandra Bharati also claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Dela Modi did not intervene but was always informed of developments.
The defendants also assured the TRS MLA that they would be “safe” from ED or IT raids. In addition to committing to category Y security at the centres, the chief minister said they would send the money to the desired locations of the priorities, while giving a live narration during a video showing at the press conference.
The defendants have publicly claimed that eight governments were overthrown, and four others, including Telangana, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan, were in line with simultaneous operations. In another disclosure, the defendants also explained contracts offered to those who joined the BJP.
“In Delhi, apart from the contract, each MLA will receive Rs 250 crore while the accumulated value of the scam is Rs 11 billion. The ED should investigate the source of this money,” the chief minister said.
