UPDATE – Mon 01 May 23 at 11:24pm

Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi President and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao said on Monday that the party will not have any affiliation with any political party in Maharashtra, saying the party is strengthening its organizational network across all 288 assembly constituencies.
The Chief Minister interacted with a group of political leaders from Maharashtra in Telangana Bhavan on Monday, who said that Maharashtra used to be politically conscious and it is not the same now.
Lamenting the deteriorating situation of the neighboring government, he said the BRS would not have any affiliation with any political party in Maharashtra. Birthplace of luminaries such as BR Ambedkar and Anna Hazare, the state has been a significant source of influence in the country.
“Because of such outstanding people, in the first few days of my tenure as a legislator, people used to speak highly of the country, and I learned a lot from it. But recently it has been the opposite. Today there is a situation where I am guiding them towards moving in the right direction,” he said.
The chief minister also discussed with the Maharashtra delegation the party’s action plan to strengthen the organizational network in the state’s 288 assembly constituencies. In the first phase, the party will set up offices in four important cities: Mumbai, Nagpur, Aurangabad and Pune, and the relevant process is already underway.
The people of Maharashtra, realizing that their present misery is due to the parties that have ruled Maharashtra so far, have come to look forward to BRS. He said BRS winds were blowing through Maharashtra, stressing the welfare of farmers and the importance of implementing the Telangana model in Maharashtra.
The Chief Minister said the party’s activities will take place in all 288 constituencies from May 5 to June 5. In addition to the nine committees of farmers, students, youth, women, SC, ST and OBC, village level party committees will also be established.
These committees will operate in a Telangana mode, explaining all the flagship programs of the state, covering at least five villages per day.
He added that party campaign materials were being prepared, as well as songs in Marathi.
