Hyderabad: After the latest partial solar eclipse, Hyderabad is preparing for another celestial event on Tuesday, a total lunar eclipse. The eclipse can be viewed from 5:40 pm until the moon leaves Earth’s shadow at 6:19 pm.
The lunar eclipse begins at 1:30 pm and ends at 7:28 pm. Its salient phase begins at 2:39 pm and ends at 6:19 pm. The total solar eclipse will only be visible in the eastern and northeastern states around 5:12pm, while the rest of the country will be able to witness a partial eclipse by 6:19pm.
Meanwhile, all temples in the state have been closed since the morning. Chilkur Balaji will be closed for 20 hours from 8am Tuesday to 6am Wednesday.
After today’s celestial phenomenon, the next total lunar eclipse will occur on March 14, 2025.
