Hyderabad: Three members of a family were killed in a car accident in Sharm Shabad on Sunday afternoon.
According to the police, Gopal (47) was riding his bicycle with his wife Anjali (42) and daughter Swathi (9) when a truck hit the bicycle from behind near Shapoor village in Shamshabad.
“All three fell to the road with serious head injuries. Death was instantaneous for them. It was evident that the driver of the vehicle was driving negligently,” Shabad police said.
After receiving the news, the police rushed to the scene and transferred the body to the morgue for an autopsy. A case was registered against the driver, he was detained and the vehicle was confiscated.
