Hyderabad: NVS Reddy, managing director of Hyderabad Airport Metro Limited (HAML), said on Wednesday that five engineering consortiums have been awarded the tender for the Airport Metro General Consultant (GC).
Eligible consortia include AECOM India/Egis Rail (France)/Egis India; Ayesa Ingenieria y Arquitectura (Spain)/Aarvee Associates/Nippon Koi (Japan); Consulting Engineers Group/Korea National Railways (South Korea); Systra (France)/ RITES /DB Engineering and Consulting (Germany) and Technica y Proyectos (Spain) /PINI Group (Switzerland).
The technical team of Hyderabad Airport Metro Limited (HAML) has pre-qualified a large number of documents and data submitted by 5 consortiums to participate in the bid for the General Consultant (GC) of Hyderabad Airport Metro Project. NVS Reddy said their respective technical capabilities and financial situation were assessed.
Evaluation will depend primarily on the consortium’s response to the eligibility criteria set forth in HAML. The number and size of projects they have handled, their experience in tender document preparation, DPR review, engineering consultancy documentation, project monitoring consultancy, detailed engineering design verification checks, etc. were assessed. Based on this assessment, HAML has declared that all 5 consortiums are eligible to participate in the final tender round, said Mr NVS Reddy, Managing Director of HAML.
NVS Reddy added that the next stage of bidding documents, the Request for Proposal (RfP) document, will be issued to all these consortiums, who must submit their bids by January 20, 2023.
