Common: Unidentified gangsters set fire to a forest department official’s motorcycle in Brahmalakunta village, Penuballi mandal, Khammam district, on Friday.
Department official Bhukya Kalu is said to have visited the village after learning that some hunters had placed electronic traps in the local forest within the Tallada forest range to hunt wild animals. Foresters parked near the village’s rice paddies and entered the forest to check for traps.
When he returned to where he parked his vehicle, he found his bike was on fire. Based on his complaint, VM Banjar Police opened a case and opened an investigation into the incident.
