Hyderabad: Groundwork was laid on Saturday for three developments within Hyderabad Municipal Corporation’s (GHMC) Uppal Circle at an estimated cost of Rs. 2.8 million
These works include a stormwater drainage pipeline in Chilkanagar, a vacuum dehydrated cement concrete (VDCC) road in Kaliampuri and another VDCC road in Kumari Kunta.
Labor Minister Ch Malla Reddy, Mayor G Vijaya Laxmi and others attended the groundbreaking ceremony. “Upal constituency has seen a lot of development of Rs 200 crore and Hyderabad has changed dramatically since the formation of Telangana,” the minister said.
Meanwhile, the mayor inspected the Uppal circle cemetery and asked officials to prepare a budget for its development and allocate funds.
