The minister also said that issues related to the registration and pattas of the LB Nagar constituency will be resolved soon.
Hyderabad: Municipal Management and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao said that Hyderabad is under construction and the infrastructure is undergoing major changes and even children are aware of it.
He said dramatic changes to the city’s infrastructure were often showcased on social media, with people sharing developments in their respective areas.
The Minister said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had drawn up the Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP) back in 2015 to ensure that fast-growing Hyderabad would not face the problems that Bangalore is currently facing.
He said that of the 47 SRDP projects proposed in the first phase, 17 were carried out in LB Nagar and Uppal.
Referring to the development work being carried out in the LB Nagar constituency, the minister said the overpasses and underpasses constructed in the constituency have provided much-needed relief for commuters and more projects are underway in LB Nagar.
The minister also said that issues related to the registration and pattas of the LB Nagar constituency will be resolved soon.
He said he would hold a meeting soon to announce the registration.
The announcement came after the opening of the Nagor interchange on Wednesday.
