Hyderabad: A motor rickshaw driver was allegedly murdered by four of his friends on DRDL Road in Chandrayangutta early Thursday.
The acquaintance saw the victim Shakir (30 years old), a resident of Bhavaninagar, with a group of people during the night. His body was found in a pool of blood on DRDL Road in the morning. He suffered multiple injuries. After receiving the news, the police rushed to the scene and transferred the body to the morgue for an autopsy.
“Preliminary investigations revealed that four people murdered him. A case was booked. Once the suspect is captured, we will be able to know the motive,” said Syed Jahangeer of ACP Falaknuma.
A case under Section 302 of the IPC was registered and three teams were formed to apprehend the attackers.
