Hyderabad: On Saturday, Home Minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali and Livestock Minister T. Srinivas Yadav participated in the opening ceremony of the first supermarket store “Red Rose Mart” of the Red Rose Group of Companies here.
The supermarket occupies an area of about 26,000 square feet and is located on the main road Falaknuma – Charminar, stocked with FMCG, coffee shop, butcher, vegetable and fruit corner, sweet meat shop, cosmetics, imitation jewelry and pharmacy. “We are following the low price policy to cater to consumers. We will open more stores in the city,” said Zia ur Rahman, one of the owners.
An important part of the supermarket is the “live bakery” set up by Pista House, where bakers will prepare items in front of the public. “Our idea is to let people know how seriously we take food safety and hygiene. A variety of baked goods will be prepared, baked and sold here,” says MA Majeed, owner of Pista House.
