Hyderabad: A one-of-a-kind “Interactive Science Park” featuring scientific equipment, WiFi, a dedicated area for individual work on laptops and charging points, will be completed near the Cyber Towers in Hitec City.
Developed by the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), the interactive science park spans three acres. “People can learn about Newton’s laws of motion through the equipment provided here. Likewise, other physics-based scientific concepts can be learned by visiting the park,” said a GHMC official.
In addition to learning about science concepts, the park offers entertainment for all ages. The Science Park has a dedicated children’s play area and an open gym.
Some of the other features include ramps for the elderly and disabled, walkways, gazebos, funky seating arrangements, waterfalls, lush greenery, restrooms and a safe room.
Surrounding the park are IT companies, hotels, guesthouses, hospitals, and residential apartments, and GHMC officials have built a cafeteria that plans to cater to all visitors.
