Hyderabad: Judge (rtd) Nisar Ahmad Kakru, who is part of the four-member supervisory committee appointed by the Supreme Court to oversee the day-to-day affairs of the Hyderabad Cricket Association, proposed the formation of a selection panel to pick different teams for the upcoming matches.
In a letter to other panel members, Telangana Corruption Bureau chief Anjani Kumar, former Indian cricketer SL Venkatapathy Raju and Hyderabad Cricket Academy of Excellence director Vanka Pratap, former Hyderabad chief justice Kakru Andhra Pradesh High Court Said that with due adherence to the HCA rules and regulations, the selection panel may be appointed by the panel as an expedient measure pending further order from the Supreme Court.
Kakru further added that Mohammed Azharuddin’s term as HCA chairman has come to an end in September 2022, saying that “choices made by Azhar or his appointees after September 2022, or under his control, have no jurisdiction “. “After September 2022, the appointment of selectors/coaches for and on behalf of the HCA and the decisions made and orders issued will be suspended,” he said in the letter.
He further revealed that he was not informed of the resolution passed by the three members of the committee and that he did not agree with their resolution.
