Mirpur: Bangladesh scored a sensational victory in the first ODI of the three-match series on Sunday.
Throwing in the batting, India went all out for 186 in 41.2 overs, with KL Rahul (73 off 70 balls) going solo for the visitors.
In response, Bangladesh rode on skipper Litton Dass’ 41 for an initial 40-over nine before falling to 136 for 136.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz, however, brought home a sensational 39-ball 38-point cameo with four turnovers.
Mohammed Siraj (3/32) was India’s most successful bowler, while Washington Sundar (2/17) and rookie Kuldeep Sen (2/37) took two wickets each, Shardul Thakur (1/21) and Deepak Chahar (1/ 32) Each person occupies one ticket gate.
For Bangladesh, left-arm spinner Shakib Al Hasan (5/36) was the star bowler and Ebadot Hossain (4/47) also contributed a lot.
