Hyderabad: Nathnaipally in Medak recorded a minimum of 8.7C on Tuesday morning, the lowest temperature in the state and an orange alert was issued accordingly. Orange alerts are typically issued for severe cold snap conditions, instructing officials to prepare.
Until Tuesday morning, the lowest temperature in Khammam was 10.3 degrees Celsius, followed by 11.7 degrees Celsius in the Vikarabad area.
Dry weather prevailed in many parts of Telangana, with some areas seeing significant drops in minimum temperatures. According to the Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS), the minimum temperature for the next three days is expected to be between 14 degrees Celsius and 17 degrees Celsius.
In general, the former Medak and Adilabad regions recorded the lowest minimum temperatures in the state.
