Hyderabad: We have crossed the year 2022 and for Hyderabad Cricket Association this will be the year that we as stakeholders want to leave behind.
In trying to speculate on what we hope to change in the new year, the shift away from cricket and the dire experience the city’s cricket lovers face in the year leading up to 2022 is a theme I dare to imagine.
I hope that starting this year, we will see deserving young aspiring individuals who want to represent HCA at every level get selected to state teams based on their ability to play. This will happen if the selectors, coaches and support staff recruited to develop talent are the best we can afford.
All grants received from the Board of Control for Cricket in India are for the direction of the game and not for frivolous infrastructure unrelated to the game and player welfare.
We directly use the expertise of former players to improve the level of players, not the management of the association. This is my opinion based on the state of affairs at the HCA, despite being run by former players so far.
We must cleanse the image of the corrupt organization of drafting in the new year, and that can only happen if players, parents, and selectors come together to say no to the “peddlers” who manipulate managers who currently wield absolute power. .
The adage “absolute power corrupts absolutely” is very relevant to the current system of the Hyderabad Cricket Association.
In the new era, we would like to see the whole of local cricket played on well maintained grounds with sports turf cricket pitches. The national championship tag we won in 1987 will be restored in 2023.
Male and female cricketers will wear the national colors with pride and it will be a privilege only for those who are worthy to play for Hyderabad.
The cricketing facilities provided by the HCA will be among the best in the country and aspiring players can take full advantage of it to improve their skills.
As a result of the aforementioned state, the nation will contribute several players to various Indian teams and inspire the younger generation to adore them and pursue the game.
In fact, 2023 will be the year that transforms gaming in Hyderabad from its current dark ages to a golden age of development. hope.
Let’s look to the future positively and don’t carry any excess baggage into the new year.
