NIELIT and Microsoft to deploy CyberShikshaa and Ready4Cybersecurity programs at NIELIT’s 30 training centers located in tier 2 and tier 3 towns
Hyderabad: On Wednesday, the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) partnered with Microsoft to provide cybersecurity skills training to young people. The required skills will be taught through the Cyber Shikshaa and Ready4Cybersecurity programmes.
Targeting underserved youth, women and job seekers in remote areas, NIELIT and Microsoft will deploy the CyberShikshaa and Ready4Cybersecurity programs across NIELIT’s 30 training centers in second- and third-tier towns, a press release said. These programs will be scaled up in subsequent years to integrate cyber security training programs across all NIELIT training centers, adding that nearly 3,500 learners will be trained and given internships or employment opportunities to work in in-demand cyber security Work.
